+ | I believe Alive has it right with the "Brazilian neo-Nazi cadres." I think the translation found in And Still They Fly reads "secret neo-Nazi group," while omitting the word "Brazilian" altogether. The translation team who worked on that obviously felt that a neo-Nazi group was being referred to, but I'm not sure why "Brazilians" wasn't included in the translation at all. "Brasilianer" is the only word describing the group in the original German, which I have translated as "Brazilians." I chose not to add any additional words not found in the German, however, in keeping with my style of translating. | ||

Note that the fate of the missing flight 232 that Billy asked about which took off on August 15, 1976 from Quito has been confirmed.
In lines 52-56 of contact report 118, Quetzel said that it crashed at nearly 6,000 meters altitude into the volcanic mountain Chimborazo in the Andes in Ecuador with about 60 people aboard who died on impact. And that the debris won't be found unless by a stroke of fate.
Fate happened. In February 2003, it was confirmed that the plane wreckage was found on October 17, 2002 by climbers on the volcano! Another easy proof of the truth of the contact notes.
From http://aviation-safety.net/database/record.php?id=19760815-0
"The Viscount went missing while on a flight to Cuenca (CUE). The wreckage was found October 17, 2002 by climbers who tried to reach the top of the 20,700-foot Chimborazo Volcano. Further investigation by officials in February 2003 confirmed that the wreckage was indeed SAETA flight 232."
From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chimborazo_(volcano)
"In August 1976 SAETA Flight 232 carrying 55 passengers and four crew members aboard a Vickers Viscount from Quito to Cuenca disappeared en route. In October 2002, after 26 years, the aircraft was found with the bodies of its 59 occupants at 5,400 metres (17,700 ft) elevation on Chimborazo by Ecuadorian climbers on the rarely used eastern route Integral"

Quetzal: 22. It concerns three men of the group of Brazilians, known under the name "Men in Black."
Are they Brazilian neo-NAZI cadres or just carnival youngsters? Do they also wear black clothes in broad daylight?
