29 March 1976, 18:10 hours, Hasenbol-Langenberg, Switzerland. Mr. Eduard Meier snapped this fine colour photograph as the reflected light of the setting sun produces characteristic crepuscular rays, which are only formed at a distance from the observer and can never be approached, like a rainbow, thus eliminating a small model object close to the camera. There were over 30 pictures in this series taken at this time during this photographic event. The site was so difficult to get to that we had to winch our 4-wheel drive Jeep up the hill to get to it ourselves. (Quote from Message of the Pleiades Volume 4 page 4)
